不過結局...我不能接受

Just finished the movie. Very nice acting, directing, music and pace. As for the script...I was horrified by the warped character of Mélanie... she was so absorbed in retaliation for her hurt dignity that she made sure the culprits pay ten times more than they deserved.
Adriane was not faultless. She did mistreat the other girl both in the past and at the present...In the past she belittled Mélanie's efforts and pride and at the present she brushed off Mélanie's sentiments (fake, but Adriane did not know till the very end) by leting her go without giving their "other relationship" a proper resolution, I mean she would have just pretended nothing happened if Melanie had not tempted her with the farewell request.
Yet I feel sorry for Adriane for having both family and career ruined for a cause that she would never know. And worse still, I do not think Melanie in the end had any genuine loving feelings for her ... If there had been any affection, it might be taking a fancy to Ariane's glorified image as a pianist, someone Melanie believed she should have become if not because of Ariane's carelessness in the past, and such a fancy would only fuel M's determination to take revenge by playing with Adriane's feelings and thereby ruining her.
