First, you have made confusion about the relationship of yamibo BBS and YYK Fansub, which maintains an obsession for not only the fansubbers but also the board managers. Actually, YYK Fansub did originate from the yamibo BBS. Beyond many people's expectation, however, YYK is not the official fansub of the yamibo BBS. Mislinking these two independent subjects is likely to lead to unfavorable accidents.
Second, comparing with accuracy, personal style and speed are always on an upper level, which show less significance. I'm not implying anything, but, unfortunately, there exists some "caption teams" (be attention of the distinction of the word "caption team" and fansub). Ignoring the basis of translation process, they unprofessionally pursue other things than accuracy. I am regretful to point out this stupidity, for the lack of love and responsibility they have showed in their works.
Moreover, YYK is but a fansub team without styles. It is precision and concision that we are trying to show everyone. Subtitles are neither fictions nor newspapers. Clear understanding of the purpose of subtitle-making will give you a possibility to thoroughly comprehend our styles.
